Oklahoma City Girls Art School hosts a summer camp June 19 - 23, 2017
at SixTwelve in the Paseo Arts District
for students ages 8 through 16.
Camp runs 9:00am to 4:00pm each day.
Join us for a week of incredible uplifting, positive and creative self-expression. Working and teaching artists will work with students each day teaching high quality visual arts. Students will create tiny weavings on Cricket looms with Kiona Millirons, Cyanotypes with Victoria Willis, Acrylic and Watercolor painting with Elizabeth Dueck, Paper Marbeling and Poetry with Kerri Shadid, Design, Collage and Mixed Media Stitching with Aubrey Jernigan, Yoga & Meditation with Alexis Persico and Nicole Galloway and Confidence for Girls with Hannah Royce. All artwork and journaling will be organized into a personal Girl Power Journal at the end of the week. Themes of empowerment, confidence, self-love, mindfulness, body image and self-expression will be the center of our program. Students from the Oklahoma City Girls Art School will be art mentors throughout the week as well as volunteers from our awesome community.
Students bring their own lunches and a water bottle. Snacks will be provided.
Only 20 spots are available.
Camp is $300.
Before and after care are available for $10/day.
